Boondocks Taxidermy
At Boondocks Taxidermy we perform all aspects of traditional taxidermy and freeze-dry services, including turkey heads and pet preservation. We are located in Western Kentucky where hunting and fishing are great. We have been in the taxidermy business for about 12 years and freeze-drying for about 11 years. We have participated in and won awards in taxidermy competitions at the state, national, and international levels. The competitions helped us to improve our taxidermy skills and showed us how to pay more attention to the smaller details which sometimes go unnoticed.
We love being outdoors and enjoy watching wildlife in its natural environment which we feel greatly contributes to our ability to mount animals with life-like realism. It is also important to understand the anatomy of different animals in order to produce an anatomically correct and symmetrical mount which we strive for in each and every animal.
